It is an absolute pleasure to be able to deliver an Autumnal Themed Pottery Workshop from this stunning venue. It makes for the perfect occasion for friends and family members to spend time together creating memories and keepsakes. It takes place in the comfort of the Jarvis Room, which is the ideal space for inspiring creativity.
This exclusive workshop consists of two sessions, which are approximately 3 hours in duration and two weeks apart. The first session is for making your Pinch Pot Pumpkins and Ghosts, when you will be guided through the process but also encouraged to add your own unique style to your make. Your pottery is then taken back to the studio to dry naturally and evenly before bisque firing.
The second session is for glazing/decorating what you have made, using a beautiful range of coloured glazes. During this session we arrange a convenient time for everyone to come back to Doddington Hall for Afternoon Tea and the “Big Reveal”.
Your pottery masterpieces are taken back to the studio for glaze firing and packaged ready for you to receive at the “Big Reveal”. This is a particularly heartwarming finish to the workshop, when everyone gets to see their completed work and that of their fellow potters, whilst enjoying a delicious Afternoon Tea in the ambience of the Coach House.
The workshops are very friendly, full of laughter and most welcoming. The cost is £125 per person, that includes both sessions and your Afternoon Tea at the Big Reveal.
