This is a 3 hour long taster session for those who have never had the opportunity to create with clay. 3 hours may sound like a long time, but the environment is relaxing and working with clay has therapeutic qualities, time flies by in the pottery studio.

I’ll help you grasp the fundamentals of working with clay, showing you how to centre the clay on the wheel and throw a basic cylinder. With guidance you will be able to bring your own unique design to life, so why not get your hands dirty?

If you are daunted by the thought of using the potters wheel, there are plenty of other ways you can create with clay. Why not try hand building your own unique design, or try using the pinch pot technique to create something for your home or friends.

You can choose 3 of your favourite pottery creations, once they have been bisque fired you are welcome to come back to the pottery studio to glaze them or choose your glaze and I will do it for you. Please allow 3 weeks between making your pottery and collection.
